Socrates – Arion Study Visits

Arion study visits provide the opportunity to investigate particular aspects of education in another country. The visits last five days and run between September and June each year, bringing together a team of education specialists from across Europe. Through gaining knowledge of other systems and approaches, participants - who act as "multipliers" back in their home country - disseminate information and good practice across Europe on a variety of issues and themes.

The visits run along a variety of themes (twenty-five in total) encompassing many aspects of education throughout Europe, including special educational needs provision, modern languages and adult education. Details on the available visits can be found in the Arion catalogue which is produced in March each year.
