Early Years Team Support to Settings |   | Changes within the Early Years Service have resulted in our having seven Children’s Centre Teachers and four Development Worker’s posts, providing a more comprehensive service for settings on the Island. - Telephone advice on any issues you might have.
- Children’s Centre based short training sessions – you will be notified of these as they arise. These are in addition to courses advertised in the Early Years Service termly Training & Development Programme.
- Support with implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) including planning, implementation and record keeping.
- Targeted hands-on support based on observations and discussions with Children’s Centre Teacher
- Support with Quality Assurance work.
- Support with Observations and how to use them.
- Support with any aspect of the learning environment.
- Signposting to an appropriate person regarding queries about legal matters, Ofsted, Regulation and Employment or financial issues.
