E-PROFILE TRAINING - SURGERY (PART 2)

Target Group: Reception Teachers, NQT’s and those new to the Foundation Stage.

Aims:
  • To review process outlined in Part 1 of course held on 6th October 2008.
  • To respond to practitioners’ specific concerns.
  • To identify observation as an important assessment tool.

Objectives / Learning Outcomes:

Ability to:
  • use information to prepare end of year reports;
  • use appropriate charts to support analysis of data;
  • use observation to arrive at the sound judgements which make up the e-profile.

Intended Impact:
  • Practitioners will use sound judgements and e-profile analysis to enhance planning.

Course Trainers: April Barry – Ryde Children’s Centre teacher, Jane Leigh – Early Years Foundation Stage Leader and Alan Barry – Northwood Primary School IT Technician.
