THE ROLE OF THE KEY PERSON IN THE EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE EYS/EA/368 (A) and EYS/EA/369 (B)
Target Group: All Early Years practitioners i.e. Preschools and Nurseries, Childminders and Reception Class staff, working with children up to 5 yrs.
Course Aims: - To explore the Theme of Positive Relationships in the Early Years Foundation Stage, focusing on the commitment regarding the role of the key person.
Course Objectives: - For practitioners and teachers to appreciate the importance and have a clear understanding of the role of the Key Person in all early years provision.
Intended Impact: - Practitioners and teachers will be able to appreciate the need for key persons within their early years provision
- Practitioners and teachers will be able to successfully undertake the role of a key person in their settings and classrooms.
Course Trainers: Anne Rider - Early Years Foundation Stage Inclusion Manager and Jane Thurbin - Early Years Development Worker.
Practitioners should also attend the appropriate follow-up session so please put the date in your diary.
