THE WELFARE REQUIREMENTS WORKSHOP FOR THE EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE EYS/EA/360
Target Group: Reception Class Teachers and Higher Level Teaching Assistants.
Aims: - To explain the context and legal background.
- To explain the four key inspection judgements.
- To reflect on how to implement the welfare requirements within reception classes.
- To discuss and explore the impact of meeting mandatory requirements.
- To consider ways on how to ensure health and safety standards are met and maintained.
Objectives / Learning Outcomes: - Practitioners will gain greater insight into Section 3 requirements of the Statutory Framework.
Intended Impact: - Practitioners will have a clearer understanding of the necessity to meet and maintain the welfare requirements within the classroom.
- Practitioners will be able to explore how to implement the statutory framework requirements within their individual classrooms.
Please read, before the course, the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and bring to the training the EYFS Documentation.
