HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT (HLTA) FUNDING FOR TRAINING/ASSESSMENT

The Application Packs for both the generic HLTA training/assessment routes and the newly introduced Maths and Science Specialist HLTA training are now available. (N.B. The Maths and Science Specialist HLTA training is a pilot scheme for middle schools only)

The pack contains:
  • The criteria for the allocation of funding
  • A self-assessment for the Revised HLTA Standards (2007)
  • Level 3 and 4 teaching assistant job specifications
  • HLTA Application form
