FUNCTIONING SKILLS TRAINING

Target Group: Middle School Key Teachers for Functional Skills from each of: English, Mathematics and ICT.

Aim:
  • To deliver training on the Functioning Skills materials from the National Strategy to colleagues from Middle schools.

Objectives / Learning Outcomes:
  • Colleagues will learn about Functional Skills agenda and its place within assessment developments in Secondary Curriculum.

Intended Impact:
  • Teachers and schools will be well equipped to deliver the Functional Skills agenda in their schools.

Course Trainers: Jenny Barclay – Secondary Consultant (English), Wendy Brady – Secondary Consultant (Mathematics) and Rob Ellis – Secondary Consultant (ICT).
