GOOD TEACHING AND LEARNING IN THE CLASSROOM PS/EC/10
Target Group: Teachers who have just completed their NQT year.
Aims: - To continue to enthuse new teachers, embedding and extending strategies for successful classroom practice.
Objectives / Learning Outcomes: - To extend and develop practical strategies in the area of AFL.
- To extend and develop practical strategies in the area of tracking pupils progress and interventions.
- To extend and develop practical strategies in the area of emotional and behavioural outcomes in the classroom.
Intended Impact:
Course Attendees will: - Share good practice and establish an effective network.
- Extend their knowledge of practical strategies to support good teaching.
- Add to their tool kits in the areas of AFL, pupil tracking, interventions and behaviours.
- Be enabled to deliver quality lessons with high expectations of pupils leading to improved standards.
