SUPPORT FOR WRITING - YEARS 4, 5 AND 6
PS/EC/09
Target Group: Teachers in Years 4, 5 and 6.
Aims: - To support progression in writing, both within a year and across the primary age range.
- To support teachers improving planning for writing, aligning the Support for Writing materials with APP and layered pupil writing targets linked to key strands of the Primary Framework.
Intended Impact:
- To enable Years 4, 5and 6 teachers to use the Support for Writing materials to teach key strands of the Primary Framework and improve pupils’ achievement in writing.
Please identify four children at different levels of achievement in writing, and using APP decide on the next steps in learning for these children. If you are not yet using APP, please assess the writing as usual, identifying the next steps.
