PROVISION MAPPING – TAKING THE FIRST STEPS PSC/EC/05
Target Group: Headteachers, Assistant Headteachers and Inclusion / SENCOs.
Aim: - To provide an overview of what provision mapping involves, how to draw up an initial provision map and how to involve all staff.
Objectives/Learning Outcomes: - To understand what provision mapping involves as a process and how it relates to the Waves of Intervention.
- To view examples of provision maps, decide on an appropriate format and plan for implementation in your school.
- To be able to identify key issues for the development of school practice related to provision mapping and interventions.
Intended Impact: - To enable a school to see how mapping of provision can become provision management by clearly demonstrating use of cost effective resources and effectively support pupils across the school.
