SUBJECT LEADERS KEY STAGE 1 – 2 (CORE SUBJECTS)
PSC/EC/04
Target Group: New and Existing Subject Leaders.
Aims:
For those who lead subjects with KS1 and 2 to have regular opportunities to: - receive updates on national and local initiative
- share information and resources
- share and build on local effective practice.
Objectives / Learning Outcomes:
- Subject Leaders will be empowered to use national and local resources to identify and explore key issues to improving teaching and learning within their subject area.
Intended Impact:
- Pupil progress and engagement will be enhanced through the effective development of subject areas.
- Subject Leaders will be confident in their own leadership skills therefore building capacity within schools and across the Island.
- All staff within schools will be enabled to develop associated teaching and learning skills in conjunction with curriculum knowledge.
