WAVE 2 INTERVENTIONS – EARLY LITERACY SUPPORT (ELS)
PS/EC/08
Target Group: Year 1 Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
Aims: - For Year 1 teachers and teaching assistants to become familiar with the re-written Early Literacy Support materials.
- For Year 1 teachers and teaching assistants to network with colleagues sharing good practice and ideas for next steps (possible Wave Three).
Objectives / Learning Outcomes:
- Year 1 teachers and teaching assistants are confident in the use of ELS materials.
Intended Impact:
- The target group of pupils will be working on the appropriate literacy objectives for their age, by the third term of Year 1.
Please bring your ELS Folders:
- Session Materials for Teaching Assistants
- Materials for Teachers.
