SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL ASPECTS OF LEARNING (SEAL) - A WHOLE SCHOOL APPROACH. Target Group: All staff connected with the development of young people from the age of 5 to 16. (Key stages 1, 2, 3, and 4) Aims:
Expected Outcomes:
It is anticipated that the school will seek to embed SEAL practices in their organisations over a period of time using key staff and coaching models. Trainers/consultants will be available to support this if required. Trainers: Sue Ford, School Improvement Consultant, and Steve Hoyle, Behaviour and Attendance Consultant. Organiser : Duncan Mills (Principal Adviser 0-13) Venues and timing: The initial training can be organised in schools as half day, whole day, or twilight sessions of minimum 2 hour duration. It can equally be delivered off school site if required. Both time and venue can be negotiated with school managers. Costs: Will be negotiated with school managers based on the time, venue and development work. |
