EFFECTIVE SUPPORT FOR PUPILS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS (SEN)/DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION ACT 2005 GOV/EC/09
Target Group: All governors and Clerk to Governors, but particularly governors who have responsibility for SEN and/or the Accessibility Plan within the Governing Body.
Objectives / Learning Outcomes: - A better understanding of the identification and support for SEN pupils.
- An awareness of targets, inclusion, resources and specialist support.
- An understanding of governors’ responsibilities with regard to the Disability Discrimination Act 2005
Intended Impact: - Better challenge and support for school SEN practices.
- Understanding and monitoring pupil level data and progress.
- Understanding and monitoring the Accessibility Plan.
