The Isle of Wight Action Plan for NEET 2009-11IntroductionThis plan sets out the activities to be undertaken in the next two years to reduce the number of young people aged 16 to 18 who are not in education, employment or training. The plan was developed by representatives from schools, the college, work based providers, the Connexions service, the Youth offending team, the Education Business Partnership, the voluntary sector and Isle of Wight Council’s Children’s Services. Consultation has taken place with a range of 14-19 stakeholders and Children’s Trust partners.
