The Isle of Wight Council’s Arts Unit is committed to developing an exciting and varied programme of creative arts adult and community learning opportunities including :-

Additionally the Arts Unit is currently managing a new learning programme entitled Learning Through Island Events, co-financed by the Learning & Skills Council for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight through the European Social Fund.

Over the next three years the Arts Unit will be running a number of learning programmes aiming to support Island events and help them to be more successful. Opportunities will include: -

Creative Programme
Performance, site design, pyrotechnics, carnival and arts

Event Management
Health and Safety, site planning and risk assessment

Marketing
Poster design, Desk Top Publishing and digital media
