IOW Council Arts Unit | The Isle of Wight Council’s Arts Unit is committed to developing an exciting and varied programme of creative arts adult and community learning opportunities including :-

Additionally the Arts Unit is currently managing a new learning programme entitled Learning Through Island Events, co-financed by the Learning & Skills Council for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight through the European Social Fund.
Over the next three years the Arts Unit will be running a number of learning programmes aiming to support Island events and help them to be more successful. Opportunities will include: -
Creative Programme
Performance, site design, pyrotechnics, carnival and arts
Event Management
Health and Safety, site planning and risk assessment
Marketing
Poster design, Desk Top Publishing and digital media
Learning Through Island Events can support individuals and organisations to develop new and exciting skills to support our Island.
