Anti-Bullying Phone Line

The Isle of Wight Council has a helpline, to provide support to those children and young people on the Island experiencing problems with bullying.

Funded by the council, the confidential service has been developed in conjunction with the local police and is designed to send a clear message to

‘Stop the Bullying’

whilst at the same time providing help and support to those children and young people who feel they are being targeted.

The service encourages children and young people to tell someone if they feel they are being bullied, for example a friend, a parent or a teacher,

or to phone a freephone number 0800 028 64 64

where they will be given the option to see or speak to someone or to report somebody in confidence.
