The Co- Curriculum Development group was set up after the visit of Mick Waters to Cowes Yacht Haven, Summer 07 to talk about the 21st Century Curriculum.

Mick gave an inspirational talk and schools were then asked to volunteer to work as a network with the support of Lucy Smith and Jackie Faris QCA.

We now have 24 Middle, Primary and Special schools signed up to work together, with 0-13 Consultants and are keen for a whole Island approach.

We know that all our schools will need to review their curriculum and it is our aim, that support through regular meetings, networking and the valued input of Jackie and Lucy will help to make this both exciting and challenging.

The venue of these meetings is a volunteer school and begins with a Learning Walk. The focus of the meeting is decided by the group and successes, challenges and resources are shared.
